How Pakistan Police can be a Better Institute

Mostly Police is Criticised for its inefficiency but no proper actions are ever being taken to make it the best institute it can be.There are many reasons which can be considered as hurdles in the way of developing a smart institute but few are those if we work upon can bring the quick change & would be highly beneficial for the common public of Pakistan.

According to the observations it is crystal clear that the biggest problem in the growth of police department is "Political selection,Transfers & Postings".
Political Powers want those police officers in their areas who can oblige them without arguing the health of matter.The one who challenges their wrong desires are always kept far from the operational sides which is again big loss of the institute.We must decide to have a zero percent Political involvement to have a force which can work  according to the given limits without any kind of unnecessary pressure.


Second big problem can be seen is "Standard of Training of Cops".This training includes Academic & operational training which is not up to the level where we can feel satisfaction of producing well trained and well mannered Police officers.The solution to the problem is Proper training by the help of well trained & highly educated officers who can be responsible for producing skilled and modernised officers.


Third matter is "Less Salary" which makes policemen involve in different means of corruption such as bribe.There should be high salary for policemen so they wouldn't even need to think about wrong means of earning.

Fourth Resistance in the way of change is Advance Weapons,Equipment,Vehicles & Technological needs.We need  Well equipped, Technologically advanced officers who can compete the Police of any country in the world same as Our Army can stand among the best armies of the world.

Fifth issue is of deployment of Policemen in the private securities and protocol duties which take them away from their operational areas & Professional self development.It must stop as soon as possible to maintain the professional approach & on the other hand side for the private securities & protocol duties a separate force can be established which will be more appropriate for such duties.

Sixth element which is nearly missing is "Accountability Mechanism Within the institute".There should be an active  sub department of accountability which can keep an eagle eye on the ongoing system & can stop  whatever must be stopped to maintain the discipline.It should be also responsible to watch the Postings,Transfers,Promotions & utility of funds.

There can be many more suggestions & ideas to make Our Police the best Police in the world But I think if the discussed measures can be taken would bring a Revolutionary Change within short time.

Imaan Zainab Mazari is the daughter of well known politician Sheerin Mazari from the governing benches. Her previous videos against Pakistan Army spread a lot of hatreds & criticism where Pakistani Youth responded her through the social media at large. Sitting abroad now she has tweeted another video against the top religious scholar Moulana Tariq Jamil to prove her alliance with the so called anchors who criticised the Scholar according to their sick mindset.
